Bingo Rules

Bingo Rules. 75 Ball - 90 Ball

 Playing Bingo online:

What is it that makes Online Bingo so popular? It differs very little to Bingo played in a traditional Bingo Hall except in in a couple of very appealing areas:

The first being you never miss a win because you could not keep up with the caller. The majority of online Bingo providers make available the function to automatically mark your cards for you as the numbers are called, but even if you haven't set this option, their computer keeps track of all the cards issued and the numbers contained in each card, if those numbers are called you still win. So if the doorbell rings or you need to grab a drink during the game, you are free to leave the computer knowing it won't affect the outcome.

In a traditional Bingo hall, you will usually meet up with some friends, sit at the same table and then be unable to speak during the game (should you try, you will be hushed from 6 directions at once). With Online Bingo, chatting is encouraged, and excellent tools and incentives are provided by most Bingo sites to get you chatting.

Bingo Chat Rooms

These chat rooms are continually moderated by trained Chat Room staff to keep them safe and polite. The Chat Room moderators will also have side games going on in the Chat Room to add a bit of spice, Eg. they may give out small amounts of money to all players that have the 7th ball called on one of their cards, usually the winner will have to shout a predetermined word in the Chat Room to win, once the number is called.

Chat rooms have developed their own slang that can be rather daunting to a first time player, we have put together a list of the most common used throughout the whole Online Bingo Community, dont feel left out learn our Bingo Chat Abreviations

Calling Bingo Numbers:

A caller acquires numbered balls, 1 to 75 (90 in British Bingo Rules), from a machine just like the ball machine used to draw the Lottery Numbers. Then the caller puts the number up on a display, and calls out the number. The next number is called very soon after, Note: the cards have a logic to them, and this will help you find the number quickly (90 ball bingo has specific Bingo Calling Terms for each number this helps identify number that sound the same, like 13 and 30)

The Bingo Card:

Participants obtain Bingo cards with figures on them in a 5 x 5 grid corresponding to the five letters in the word B-I-N-G-O. Numbers such as B-2 or 0-68 are then drawn at random until one participant completes a 'Bingo' pattern, the center square on your card is a Free Square. Complete the card pattern to win the game, traditionally you would shout "Bingo" (or house in 90 ball Bingo when the card is completely full). Note: If the number called is G-48 you only have to look down the G column to see if you have that number.
